Job description

Position Overview

Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. This role is centered on providing high-quality mental health counseling services to individuals, couples, and families in need. As an LPC, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating mental wellness, guiding clients through their personal challenges, and promoting emotional growth through tailored therapeutic interventions.

About the Organization

At Gotham Enterprises Ltd, we are committed to enhancing the emotional well-being of our clients. Our esteemed organization is a leader in mental health services, with a strong team of professionals dedicated to fostering a nurturing environment. We pride ourselves on our solution-based approach to therapy, which respects every clientโ€™s unique journey. Our belief in a holistic and collaborative care framework ensures that all clients receive the support they need for lasting change.

Work Environment

This position is designed to support a flexible work environment, allowing for remote counseling sessions based in an outpatient office setting. Clients are seen on an appointment basis, enabling you to effectively manage your schedule and maintain a healthy work-life balance. Our advanced technology and electronic medical record (EMR) systems allow for seamless interactions and documentation, ensuring you can focus on what matters mostโ€”providing exceptional care to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to create tailored treatment plans for clients, ensuring their individual needs and goals are addressed.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions using various modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused techniques.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure the delivery of holistic care that fosters better client outcomes.
  • Maintain meticulous clinical records while adhering to ethical standards and legal requirements, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
  • Engage in professional development by staying current with industry research, participating in workshops, and attending relevant training sessions to enhance your skills.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will cater to a diverse client population, addressing a range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Your role will involve building rapport with clients from various backgrounds, offering the support needed to navigate their unique challenges. By providing a safe space for expression, you will empower clients on their journey toward improved mental health and resilience.

Qualifications
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
  • An active and unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Georgia.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in providing counseling services, ideally within a clinical or outpatient environment.
  • Strong knowledge of ethical guidelines and legal codes applicable to mental health practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to cultivate meaningful therapeutic relationships with clients.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and relevant therapeutic software.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization in areas such as trauma-informed care, substance abuse treatment, family therapy, or couples counseling is highly valued.
  • Experience working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team setting, with a focus on providing integrated care.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 based on caseload and experience.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans to keep you and your family healthy.
  • Professional liability/malpractice insurance coverage provided by the employer.
  • Unlimited client referrals to ensure a steady stream of clients and reduced workload for finding new opportunities.
  • Administrative support including billing and paperwork management, allowing you to focus solely on client care.
  • A generous sign-on bonus for qualified candidates to welcome you to our team.
