Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed assessments to accurately understand clients’ mental health concerns, establish clinical diagnoses, and develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based approaches that align with the specific needs of clients.
  • Provide crisis intervention and immediate support for clients facing acute mental health challenges, ensuring timely and effective care.
  • Maintain comprehensive, confidential client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and assessments in strict adherence to ethical and legal guidelines.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare professionals to ensure holistic client care.
  • Educate clients and their families on mental health issues, treatment modalities, and available community resources, advocating for their rights and needs.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training to remain current with best practices in mental health therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The clientele we serve at Metro West Behavioral Health Center is varied and includes individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and other mental health disorders. As a therapist, you will help clients build coping strategies, process their emotions, and develop resilience, ultimately improving their quality of life.

Qualifications
  • Must be a licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW).
  • Possess a Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.
  • Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Possess a minimum of two years of related experience in a therapeutic setting.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster therapeutic relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical and professional standards in mental health practice.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in a clinical telehealth setting is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience with evidence-based therapeutic methodologies such as CBT, DBT, or trauma-informed care is highly desirable.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $85,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a signing bonus for eligible candidates. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance options, paid time off, and holidays.
