Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with Holistic Living Counseling P.C., your core responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify clients’ mental health needs and to develop personalized, effective treatment plans.
• Providing individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.
• Establishing therapeutic goals in collaboration with clients, and monitoring their progress regularly to adjust treatment as necessary.
• Offering teletherapy solutions, enabling accessibility for clients who face transportation challenges or prefer virtual interaction.
• Maintaining meticulous client records and documentation to uphold ethical and professional standards.
• Engaging in ongoing professional development opportunities to refine clinical skills and remain informed about emerging trends in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. You will collaborate with clients to help them navigate their mental health challenges through individualized therapeutic interventions aimed at restoring balance and empowerment in their lives.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Possession of an active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated ability to establish a rapport and a secure, trusting relationship with clients through exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• A strong sense of empathy and a nonjudgmental approach toward clients' experiences and struggles, promoting a safe environment for exploration.
• Effective organizational and time management skills to ensure efficient handling of caseloads and administrative responsibilities.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in addiction treatment, trauma-informed care, or familiarity with group therapy modalities will be favorably considered. Expertise in teletherapy and the use of digital platforms for client interactions is also advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
