This role is predominantly remote, offering the flexibility to balance personal and professional commitments effectively. Although you will primarily work from home, you will be part of a collaborative outpatient environment that emphasizes connection with clients and colleagues alike. Our support team is dedicated to ensuring that you have the resources needed to thrive, including regular training and continued professional development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans that address both pre-crisis and crisis situations, including behavioral guidelines, risk assessments, and medication treatment plans.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring all client records reflect thorough evaluations and treatment methodologies.
  • Utilize evidence-based screening tools to facilitate initial assessments and ongoing evaluations, contributing to a holistic understanding of client needs within the clinical team.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement effective positive behavior support plans, ensuring that interventions are both accessible and beneficial to clients.
  • Actively engage in licensing and accreditation processes to uphold the highest standards of care, ensuring that our services continually meet regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as a liaison with relevant state agencies, community partners, and other service systems as needed, enhancing the network of support for clients.
  • Establish and sustain open lines of communication to align with contract standards and bolster our mission within the community.
  • Forge relationships with local, state, and federal agencies to promote our programs, identify potential funding sources, and explore collaborative opportunities.
  • Engage in professional growth activities such as attending workshops and conferences, addressing groups, and representing the agency in relevant statewide meetings and task forces.
  • Promote and embody the agency's mission, values, philosophy, and principles in all interactions and practices.
  • Perform additional relevant duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to ensure the smooth operation of services.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals coping with emotional and psychological challenges, substance use disorders, developmental disabilities, and neurological conditions. You will play a crucial role in offering tailored therapeutic interventions that facilitate healing and recovery, ultimately enhancing the quality of life for individuals and their families.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s Degree in a mental health-related field is required.
  • An independent LMHC license is mandatory to practice in the state of Florida.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience in an outpatient mental health setting is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed care approaches and evidence-based practice models.
  • Experience working collaboratively within a team to develop patient-centered care strategies.
Compensation and Benefits

The yearly salary for this Licensed Mental Health Counselor position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a competitive benefits package that includes:

  • Monthly productivity bonuses that reward your contributions and commitment.
  • Continued professional development opportunities to nurture your career growth.
  • Ongoing supervision and mentorship to enhance your clinical skills.
  • A supportive team environment that values collaboration and shared success.
  • Flexible scheduling options to promote work-life balance.
  • Generous paid time off and sick leave.
  • A 403B retirement plan with a 3% employer match.
  • First-time home buyers grant to support employees in their home ownership journey.
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
  • Dependent care accounts to assist with family care expenses.
  • A hire-on bonus to welcome you to our team.
