Trimble is seeking a sharp, detail-oriented Knowledge Management Copy Editor to champion content excellence across our growing Knowledge Base platform! You will serve as the ultimate guardian of brand standards, elevate writer performance through interactive coaching, and directly enhance the experience for thousands of internal employees and external customers across the architecture, engineering, and construction ecosystem.

What Makes This Role Great:

In this role, you will serve as the final enterprise authority for all published knowledge base articles, directly shaping how internal teams and external customers experience our brand. You will not only copyedit high-impact technical content, but you will also author the enterprise style guide, host interactive quarterly coaching workshops, and build the authoring playbook that sets the quality benchmark across the entire organization.

Key Exciting Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the final authority on enterprise grammar, writing style, and template compliance before content is published to production.

  • Build, maintain, and evolve the enterprise Authoring Playbook and KM Style Guide to align content writers with unified brand standards.

  • Conduct interactive quarterly content workshops and manage writer quality scorecards to mentor, coach, and elevate writing performance.

  • Partner with KM Managers to drive tool uniformity, establish best-in-class methodologies, and build cross-functional relationships across global teams.

  • Perform peer reviews and provide constructive feedback to content writers, actively identifying opportunities for editorial growth and quality improvements.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in copyediting, technical writing, or knowledge management content creation.

  • Proven expertise in creating, maintaining, and enforcing corporate style guides and enterprise documentation standards.

  • Strong track record of providing actionable feedback, coaching writers, and facilitating quality-focused workshops.

  • Exceptional command of grammar, structural editing, and consistent template application.

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience managing quality scorecards or performance metrics within a Knowledge Management platform.

  • Hands-on experience developing authoring playbooks or cross-functional content governance frameworks.

  • Background in editing both technical content and customer-facing support documentation.
