Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to determine the intensity, frequency, and duration of symptoms associated with mood disorders in clients.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their individual goals and preferences, employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
  • Provide psychoeducation to individuals and families regarding mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care techniques.
  • Monitor and document client progress on an ongoing basis, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
  • Participate in integrated care initiatives by coordinating with psychiatrists and other health care providers to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
  • Remain informed about the latest research and developments in the field of mental health, particularly pertaining to mood disorders, to enhance your clinical practice.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential client records in accordance with ethical standards and state regulations.
