Key Responsibilities
  • Provide remote therapy sessions using telehealth platforms, engaging clients through video and audio technology.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs and goals of each client.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to understand clients' backgrounds, presenting issues, and treatment progress.
  • Maintain meticulous and up-to-date documentation of session notes, treatment plans, and progress reports compliant with legal and ethical guidelines.
  • Offer crisis intervention and emotional support during sessions, employing clinically recognized techniques to de-escalate situations.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to exchange insights and coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
  • Regularly engage in continuous professional education by attending workshops and training sessions to enhance therapeutic techniques and best practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients include individuals, couples, and families facing various challenges including relationship issues, anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. The therapist will work with a diverse clientele from different backgrounds, ensuring an inclusive approach that honors and respects each client’s experiences and cultural context. The goal is to facilitate impactful therapeutic relationships that promote healing and resilience.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.
  • Current and active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Maryland.
  • Proven experience in providing therapy services via telehealth platforms.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a talent for building rapport and trust with clients.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively within a remote work setting.
Preferred Experience
  • Familiarity with a variety of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), or Solution-Focused Therapy.
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults from various socio-economic backgrounds.
  • Prior involvement in clinical supervision or mentoring of junior therapists is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
