Iris Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated and licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our dynamic team. Work Environment

The work setting is primarily remote, which provides our counselors with the flexibility to manage their schedules efficiently while still ensuring high-quality access to mental health services. Despite the remote nature, all counselors will remain engaged in regular communication with peers and participate actively in collaborative case reviews and team meetings, ensuring continual professional development and support.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on clients' unique needs.
• Provide individual, couples, and family counseling sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities to facilitate healing and personal growth.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive, coordinated treatment approaches for each client.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client sessions and treatment outcomes using our electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Engage in ongoing professional education, attending workshops and training sessions to stay current with advancements in the mental health field.
• Participate actively in staff meetings, sharing insights and strategies with colleagues to enhance overall team performance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The LPC will serve a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families coping with a variety of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. The counselor will tailor treatment approaches based on clients' cultural backgrounds and personal experiences, fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship that encourages openness and collaboration.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Counseling or a related field is required.
• Must be a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in good standing within Colorado.
• Demonstrated experience providing outpatient counseling services, with a strong understanding of therapeutic modalities.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to connect meaningfully with clients from various backgrounds.
• Strong collaboration capabilities, working seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams to enhance client care.
• A commitment to ongoing professional growth, with a desire to engage in continued education opportunities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with specific populations, such as children, adolescents, or families, is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in utilizing telehealth platforms to conduct remote sessions effectively.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and treatment planning frameworks.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this position is competitive, with a salary range of USD $80,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include:
