Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and therapeutic sessions via our telehealth platform, ensuring a safe and confidential environment for each client.
• Utilize your clinical expertise to create individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.
• Foster ongoing communication and support through a variety of modalities including audio/video messaging, online journals, and interactive clinical worksheets.
• Engage in goal-setting activities with clients, helping them monitor their progress and adjust strategies as needed.
• Collaborate with peers within the platform to enhance service delivery and share best practices for patient care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LPC at Advocate Healthcare Services, you will primarily work with adult clients experiencing low acuity mental health issues. This includes those dealing with anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, relationship concerns, and grief-related issues. Our focus on stabilizing mental health allows you to concentrate on providing effective treatments without the complexities of severe cases or pediatric patients.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Counseling or a closely related field.
• Possession of a full Independent LPC license in the state of Oregon.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine desire to help clients improve their mental health.
• Efficient technology skills, including proficiency with computers and telehealth platforms.
• A reliable internet connection and an operational computer or laptop (tablets not accepted).

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in telehealth or online therapy settings is highly desirable.
• Experience in treating the low acuity adult population, particularly in managing conditions like anxiety and depression.
• Active participation in peer communities or professional forums that contribute to professional development.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, full-time counselors are eligible for a monthly healthcare stipend.
