Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients to understand their mental health challenges and formulate personalized treatment plans.
  • Facilitate engaging therapy sessions using a variety of evidence-based practices, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other modalities tailored to client needs.
  • Implement behavior management techniques effectively, adapting strategies to suit the unique requirements of each client.
  • Maintain accurate and current electronic medical records to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and to facilitate seamless communication with other care providers.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development workshops and training sessions to refine therapeutic techniques and stay updated with industry best practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on children and adolescents facing a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders. You will develop a deep understanding of each client's unique circumstances, enabling you to provide tailored therapeutic support that leads to positive mental health outcomes.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Current state licensure or certification as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A minimum of two years of experience providing therapeutic services in a mental health setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with clients, showing empathy and understanding.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is highly desirable, as it will facilitate efficient documentation and communication.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in a community health clinic or similar setting is beneficial.
