Role Description


We are seeking an enthusiastic Sales “Partnership Development” Representative for a full-time position. The Sales Representative will be responsible for generating leads, building strong client relationships, meeting with potential clients, and identifying opportunities to grow revenue. This role also entails negotiating contracts, reporting results, and collaborating with the internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery. The ideal candidate will serve as a vital resource to clients by understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Serves clients by partnering on products, assortments and or meeting their daily needs.
  • Establishes new client accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to leverage our internal CRM database, potential sales outlet, leveraging AI and other virtual trade factors.
  • Adjusts content of partnership presentations by studying the type of sales outlet and or trade factor.
  • Focuses partnering efforts by studying, engaging, and developing potential clients.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and or monthly and annual analyses.
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery, and or merchandising techniques.
  • Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Reports client issues and concerns to the proper internal resource and ensures resolution.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Provides historical records by maintaining records on engagement, opportunities, and client responses.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Spends time traveling to client locations. Travel could be up to 50%.
  • Ultimately expected to develop exceptional relationships with future clients and always looks for opportunities to expand business with clients of strategic importance.

PREFERRED and REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: BA or BS degree with a concentration on marketing, promotions, advertising sales or business administration preferred.

Experience and/or Training: Three to five years of plastics molding industry sales experience. Rotational molding, vacuum forming, and compression molding is a plus.

Licenses/Certificates: No requirements

Technology/Equipment: Demonstrated knowledge in the use of current technology, CRM systems, Microsoft office products, and other manufacturing software

Communication: The ability to read, speak, and comprehend English is required

PHYSICAL and MENTAL DEMANDS:

  • This is an office position and spends some time sitting, standing, and walking through a plant environment
  • This position may climb stairs throughout the day
  • 15 to 20 lbs. occasional lifting
  • Manual dexterity is required to perform normal day to day function

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

The main working environment for this position is a standard office environment with some exposure to a plant environment. The plant environments may not be climate controlled and may include on occasion, exposure to heat, cold, noise and odors. Personal protective equipment is required in appropriate areas.

The sales representative will spend a considerable amount of time traveling. This traveling may be automotive transportation or flying. Also, considerable time may be spent in hotel environments away from home.
