As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Red Oak Mental Healthcare, your responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating group therapy sessions that create a space for clients to connect, share their experiences, and support one another through shared challenges.
• Conducting individual therapy sessions that offer personalized behavioral health assessments and empathetic counseling tailored to each client's unique experiences and needs.
• Collaborating with clients to develop individualized treatment plans with clear, achievable goals that resonate with their personal aspirations.
• Monitoring client progress through regular assessments, feedback mechanisms, and treatment adjustments, ensuring each client receives appropriate care at every stage of their journey.
• Working alongside a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care, communicate effectively about client progress, and consult on challenging cases to enhance client outcomes.

Your primary focus will be on a diverse group of young adults aged 18 to 30 who are undergoing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. You will help these individuals navigate their emotional landscapes, fostering resilience and empowerment as they work towards recovery. This demographic often faces unique pressures and expectations, and your role will be essential in providing specialized support tailored to their distinct experiences.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A valid and active license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• A bachelor's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required; advanced degrees will be considered favorably.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and families quickly.
• A strong understanding of evidence-based treatment modalities and a willingness to stay abreast of the latest therapeutic practices.

While not mandatory, the following experience is preferred:

• Previous experience working with young adults in a mental health setting.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care and group facilitation techniques.

This position offers an annual salary range of USD 85,000 – 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
