Accounting Clerk – Full-Time

Bowser Chevrolet | Chippewa, PA

Bowser Chevrolet is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our dealership team. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This position plays a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records while fostering positive relationships with customers, vendors, and fellow team members.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Process and post used vehicle deals accurately and timely
  • Process all wholesale vehicle transactions
  • Title Clerk experience
  • Prepare and distribute Accounts Receivable statements
  • Reconcile and balance accounting schedules
  • Complete and process floor plan transactions and dealer trades
  • Maintain accurate records and supporting documentation
  • Assist with various accounting and administrative duties as assigned
  • Handle confidential financial and organizational information with discretion
Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and standard accounting procedures
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Experience with dealership accounting software preferred
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Valid driver's license with a driving record in good standing
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods, up to 8 hours per day
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
