Job description

Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Location: Bakersfield / Wasco, CA
Employment Type: Full-Time/ In-person
Hours of Operation: Monday-Saturday, 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM (flexible scheduling within business needs.)
Salary Range: $78,000 - $112,000 annually, depending on experience, credentials, bilingual ability, and clinical leadership responsibilities.
This salary range is provided in compliance with California pay transparency laws.
Position Summary
The BCBA will provide support to individuals and their families by coordinating and providing services in Applied Behavior Analysis, functional analysis, assessments, behavior acquisition and reduction procedures, and adaptive life skills. This person will oversee programming of associate behavior analysis and provide ongoing support and supervision as it relates to the behavior support plans. In addition, this BCBA will provide supervision over certified RBT and BCBA interns within the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Complete a minimum of 35-38 billable hours on a weekly basis
  • Design and oversee applied behavior analysis (ABA) treatment programs for clients with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental diagnosis (In home and Clinic).

  • Support supervisorial staff in the ABA treatment process, including assessments, parent training, direct supervision, etc.
  • Conduct supervision for clients assigned to you who have funding for BCBA supervision, in-center, in-school, in-home, or via tele-health
  • Write and edit reports, programs, etc. that are submitted from the assigned supervisorial staff; submit final reports to Assistant Clinical Director
  • Supervise, train, and manage assigned supervisorial staff based on company standards
  • Conduct annual performance evaluations and career counseling for supervisees
  • Clinically supervise RBT candidates as assigned
  • Clinically supervise BCBA candidates as assigned
  • Provide feedback to staff in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain and ensure HIPAA compliance
  • Work closely with Admin staff as necessary (i.e., Scheduler, HR, Payroll)
  • Utilize Homebase or email to efficiently communicate to BMS staff
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Have availability Monday through Friday and occasional weekend availability 8-2pm.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Current and active BCBA certification
  • Master's degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Analysis, Behavior Science, Human Development, Social work or rehabilitation
  • Ability to demonstrate competence in behavior management skills, instructional skills, oral and written communication, organizational skills, and interpersonal relations

  • Ability to work with a variety of clients in regard to age, functionality, and with minimal direction

  • Preferred certified as a BCBA for a minimum of 1-year experience implementing ABA interventions with children with autism, designing ABA programs for children with autism, as well as training parents and instructors on how to implement these interventions

  • Experience conducting assessments: VB-MAPP, Vineland, AFLS, SAVVY Assessment
  • Bilingual is a plus (Spanish)
