Specializing in fire sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, fire pumps & fire extinguishers, AF is pursuing new verticals, new services, and new markets to aggressively augment their growth. Now pursuing fire protection opportunities in Commercial, Industrial, Government, Education (K-12) & Healthcare, as well as the Multi-Family, has also expanded into the Security field and now offers expertise in selling, designing, installing, and servicing CCTV & Security Alarms, Access Control systems, and monitoring services for both Security and Fire Alarm. About the Role
This role reports to the Vice President in Houston, TX. client is looking for a Branch Manager for immediate opportunities in Dallas, TX. The preferred candidate will have a deep knowledge as a Branch Manager in the Fire Protection Sprinkler industry for multi-family buildings, commercial, residential, high-rise, and industrial clients. The Branch Manager is responsible for total branch performance. Create and execute the branch business plan. Implement, manage, and plan areas of responsibility to facilitate continuous improvement and personal growth while supporting company goals. Overall managerial and operational responsibility.
Day to Day
Be effective in fostering an atmosphere of mutual accountability, collaboration, and respect.
Maintain contact and friendly relationships with customers and suppliers.
Establish KPI's for sales and account managers.
Resolve problems as they arise.
Oversee all existing and future business operations.
Develop and implement pricing strategies based on economic and competitive dynamics.
Successfully resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
Direct warehouse operations and maintain inventory levels.
Complete and submit in a timely manner all necessary paperwork regarding personnel, accounting, accounts payable, etc.
Be willing, able, and capable of performing any branch job function as needed.
Attend periodic branch manager's meetings.
Coach and mentor employees.
Helps plan/maintain facility layout to promote safety, security, and productivity.
Analyze and evaluate activities, costs, operations, budgets, and forecast data to determine branch progress towards stated goals and objectives.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience
10+ years in the Fire Protection Industry with at least 2 years in a supervisory role, required.
Industry-specific certifications related to fire alarms and sprinkler systems are beneficial.
Strong leadership and team-building skills are needed to manage staff effectively.
Strong financial management skills, including understanding and managing profit and loss (P&L) for the branch, are necessary.
Ability to manage projects from start to finish, ensuring they are on time, on budget, and meet quality and safety standards.
Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
Possess strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate professionally.
