Job description

AFW is looking for a Security Guard who is responsible for the protection, safeguarding and security of AFW assets, personnel, customers and all visitors. The Security Guard will patrol the AFW property, assist customers and employees with any issues they may have, and ensure all AFW vehicles are locked. The Security Guard will also notify the AFW management of any suspicious activity. Starting pay at $18/hr or D.O.E. We offer competitive compensation, weekly pay, and benefits packages to all our Full-time Team Members.
 
AFW is looking for a Security Guard who is responsible for the protection, safeguarding and security of AFW assets, personnel, customers and all visitors. The Security Guard will patrol the AFW property, assist customers and employees with any issues they may have, and ensure all AFW vehicles are locked. The Security Guard will also notify the AFW management of any suspicious activity.
 
 
Starting pay at $18/hr or D.O.E. We offer competitive compensation, weekly pay, and benefits packages to all our Full-time Team Members.
 
Job Requirements: 
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record with 2 or less moving violations with in the past 3 years (Applicants may be asked to provide an updated MVR).
  • Efficient in communication.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • At least 1 year of experience in security preferred but not required.
  • Able to have a flexible schedule and work all shifts, holidays, and weekends (Including overnights).
Job Expectations: 
  • Commitment to AFW's safety policies and procedures and ability to promote awareness. 
  • Performs security patrols. 
  • Inventory all vehicles entering and leaving the property during non-business hours.
  • Protects AFW property and equipment from theft.
  • Investigates and writes reports on accidents, incidents, suspicious activities, safety and fire hazards and other security related situations. 
  • Provides any needed assistance to customers and employees.
  • Notify the AFW management team of any suspicious activity.
  • Ability to efficiently work independent of direct supervision.  
  • Maintain a neat and safe work environment.  
  • All training provided by AFW

Physical Requirements: 

  • Requires the ability to maneuver in confined and at times congested areas
  • Requires the ability to sit, drive, stand, walk, stoop, & bend for 8 hours or more daily
  • Requires constant use of arms, hands, fingers, eyes, legs, and back.
  • Prolong periods of driving.
 
Physical Work Environment: 
  • Fluorescent Lighting
  • Concrete Flooring
  • Climate effected by outside conditions including but not limited too extreme heat/cold.
  • Considerable exterior noise
  • Extreme temperature fluctuations in the warehouse.
