As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Guard in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access point activity. Pay Rate: $21.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and/or public officials as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site protocols, reporting irregularities, policy violations, and/or potential hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Support emergency and routine operations by following post orders, assisting with crowd management, and coordinating with first responders and/or facility representatives during incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of experience in armed security-related roles, law enforcement, and/or the military.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
