Description
SUMMARY
As the Receiving & Raw Materials Inventory Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of receiving and raw materials inventory management within our facilities (Essex, 46 Park and 56 Park). This role requires strong leadership skills, exceptional attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage inventory levels to meet operational needs while minimizing costs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Inventory Control: Develop and implement inventory control procedures to ensure accurate inventory levels at all times. Regularly conduct physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies with the accounting team.
  2. Inventory Optimization: Analyze inventory levels, demand forecasts and sales trends to optimize inventory levels and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
  3. Inventory Tracking: Utilize inventory management software (EPMS and Navigator) to track and monitor inventory movements, including receipts, shipments and transfers between locations.
  4. Receiving Management: Ensure all items are properly received in ERP system (EPMS) on a daily basis. Collaborate with PO Agents in all facilities to resolve any variances within receiving.
  5. Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure that all incoming and outgoing inventory meets company standards. Investigate and resolve any quality issues as they arise.
  6. Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular reports on inventory levels, stock movements and key performance indicators. Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas of risk.

Requirements
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in inventory management or warehouse operations, with at least two years in a leadership role.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing, inventory control and financial impact of daily receiving and inventory transactions.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management principles, best practices, and procedures.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
