Supply Chain Manager 

Our Supply Chain Manager (SCM) is responsible for leading and directing the planning and inventory teams of Ranch Hand products. The SCM will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring our overall supply chain to ensure wise resource utilization, productivity, and customer order fulfillment. This role will collaborate closely with customer service and shipping to ensure customer needs are fulfilled accurately in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Promote a high level of integration with Purchasing, Production Planning, Inventory, Manufacturing, Engineering, Shipping, Sales, and Customer Service.
  • Create the master production plan and ensure successful finite scheduling is accomplished to meet customer demand
  • Lead a successful inventory management program to include cycle counting and daily/monthly reporting
  • As the team/planning process matures, propose new technology/methods to improve schedule attainment, customer order fulfillment, and reduction of production lead times
  • Identify, track, and report progress against key Supply Chain KPIs
  • Identify process bottleneck and implement solutions in a timely manner
  • Lead and develop your team members through regular 1-1’s
  • Continuously improve the Supply Chain team and processes
  • Work with finance, sales, and manufacturing team to determine best vendors
  • Build and maintain good relationships with vendors

Qualifications

  • Work Experience: Previous working experience as a Supply Chain Manager for (3) years within a manufacturing environment
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, experience using an ERP
  • Hands-on master planning experience within an ERP
  • Hands-on inventory management experience following cycle counting methodology
  • Organization Skills: Ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed; ability to work and handle multiple job assignments; high level of process management and improvement. Must be a critical thinker and demonstrate problem-solving skills. Must demonstrate wise time-management.
  • Cross-functional skills: Must be a team player by collaborating closely with other functions within Ranch Hand and sister brands. Must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple job assignments, being a player-coach as the team grows.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information; ability to communicate well with all levels of the organization; strong interpersonal skills to develop team members or coach when conflict arises.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Work Experience: 5 years of relevant manufacturing managerial experience
  • Automotive OEM supplier or aftermarket Experience
  • ASCM or IBF Certification, such as CPIM, CSCP, or CPF
  • Previous experience implementing or running an existing S&OP process

Travel

Travel to our South Texas manufacturing sites is required daily.
