Role Overview
As a Mammography Technologist, you will operate advanced X-ray equipment and perform a range of diagnostic procedures. This role requires a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure techniques, alongside a compassionate "patient-first" communication style.
Schedule:
  • Full-Time | Mondayโ€“Friday, 7:00 am โ€“ 4:30 pm
  • Occasional Saturdays required
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammograms.
  • Educate patients on procedures and the importance of preventative breast health.
  • Prepare for and assist Radiologists with intricate exams, including ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies.
  • Ensure strict adherence to radiation safety measures and clinical protocols.
  • Maintain precise documentation and utilize RIS/PACS software for patient data.
Qualifications:
  • Education:ย Completion of an approved two-year School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Experience:ย Minimum 1 year of full-time Mammography experience; documentation of clinical experience andย 3D (Tomosynthesis)ย is required.
  • Licensure/Certification:
    • Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
    • Valid State Radiology registration.
    • Current CPR/BLS Certification.
  • Compliance:ย Must meet MQSA/FDA standards (15 CEUs every 3 years; 200 documented cases every 2 years).
  • Technical Skills:ย Knowledge of eRad or Sectra RIS/PACS is preferred.
