Mammography Technologist - Diagnostic Radiology. This is a screening only Mammography Tech position.

This position is required to perform a variety of radiological technical procedures specific to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in a high volume outpatient setting. Responsible for producing high quality radiographic images while interacting with all patients in a caring and comforting manner. Jointly responsible for performing required quality control activities as mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA. Dependant on location, may be required to utilize general radiography skills to perform diagnostic radiology exams.

Required qualifications:

  • Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

  • upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Mammography.
