Job description

Gastroenterologist (Assistant Professor of Medicine): Provide medical care to patients in internal medicine and gastroenterology as a faculty/attending physician at the facilities in Cabell, Wayne, Putnam, Monongalia, and Mason Counties, West Virginia. In affiliation with Marshall University, duties include, to provide supervision and clinical instruction to medical students, residents, and fellows in internal medicine, gastroenterology and related areas. Participate in rounds and present at one or more Medical Grand Rounds per year. SOC Code 25-1071 5% allocation of duties. Travel required on a weekly basis (1-2 days per week) to our affiliated outreach facilities in Cabell, Wayne, Putnam, Monongalia, and Mason counties in West Virginia. Req. MD or professional equivalent level degree in Medicine; Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine; Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology; & West Virginia Medical License eligibility.
