Accounts Receivable (AR) Representative About the Role LHH is seeking a seasoned a AR Representative specializing in insurance collections to join the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team. Representative is responsible for managing and resolving outstanding accounts to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement. This role performs detailed claim follow-up, denial resolution, and account analysis while adhering to payer guidelines and internal policies. The AR Representative contributes to the overall financial performance of the organization by reducing accounts receivable aging, minimizing denials, and supporting efficient revenue cycle operations. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities • Investigate and resolve denied, rejected, or underpaid claims • Analyze denial trends and partner with teams to improve outcomes • Maintain accurate documentation and payer compliance • Manage work queues and prioritize accounts to meet productivity goals ________________________________________ Required Skills & Experience • Minimum 5+ years in AR follow-up, preferably in healthcare insurance collections. • Familiarity with revenue cycle processes and terminology. Technical Skills: • Preferred experience with Athena IDX billing system (training provided if they do not have Athena IDX, very open to other billing systems) • General proficiency in healthcare billing systems. May take 1-2 weeks to receive ________________________________________ Training & Onboarding • Initial Training: Two weeks of new hire and Athena IDX training. • Ongoing Support: Transition to a pod captain for hands-on guidance and payer-specific workflows. ________________________________________ DetailsPosition Type: Temp-to-Hire • Location: Remote - if candidates are within 1 hour of hub locations in: Wake Forest, NC; Sunrise, FL; Melville, NY) The candidate is required to do 3 days a month in office for Connection Weeks. If candidates are not in those areas, the position is fully remote. Time Zone Requirement: This person will be required to work Eastern Standard Time • Hours: Full time, Flex start between 7am-9am EST, Mon-Fri • Hiring Urgency: ASAP! • Compensation: $23-$25/hr depending on experience.
