What is a full time QuickBooks job?

Full Time QuickBooks jobs typically refer to positions where the primary responsibility is to manage and process financial data using QuickBooks accounting software on a full-time basis. These roles are commonly found in accounting departments, bookkeeping firms, or businesses that require accurate financial record-keeping. Duties may include entering transactions, reconciling accounts, generating financial reports, managing payroll, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Candidates for these roles are often expected to have experience with QuickBooks, a background in accounting or finance, and strong attention to detail. Full-time positions usually offer standard work hours and may include benefits such as health insurance or paid time off.

What skills and qualifications are needed to thrive as a full time QuickBooks specialist?

To thrive as a Full-Time QuickBooks Specialist, you need solid accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and experience with bookkeeping or finance-related roles. Expertise in QuickBooks software (Online and Desktop versions), familiarity with payroll and tax modules, and sometimes certification such as QuickBooks ProAdvisor are commonly required. Strong organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and clear communication help you efficiently manage client accounts and resolve discrepancies. These skills ensure accurate financial records, compliance, and effective financial management for businesses.

To address these, it’s important to establish robust internal controls, perform regular reconciliations, and take advantage of QuickBooks’ automation features to minimize manual entry errors. Additionally, collaborating closely with other departments and participating in ongoing training helps ensure accurate financial reporting and keeps your skills up to date.

Job description

DUCKETT LADD // CLIENT ACCOUNTING MANAGER

Looking for an opportunity to grow professionally, while making a meaningful impact in the world of dental accounting? Look no further than Duckett Ladd, where we are seeking a highly motivated Client Accounting Manager to join our team. Duckett Ladd is a specialized dental accounting firm serving growth-focused practice owners across the country. As a key player in our operations, you'll work closely with our clients to manage their month-end close process, analyze the financial statements for the client, and provide support on special projects, as needed.

We are looking for an accounting professional who can independently own the close process and ensure financial accuracy for dental practices. You'll be responsible for overseeing the period closes, preparing financial statements, and analyzing those statements against industry standards, all while communicating with clients in a clear and professional manner.

In addition to these core responsibilities, we also encourage our team members to pursue professional development opportunities in order to grow their skills and advance their careers. Whether it's obtaining a QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification, participating in webinars, or collaborating with colleagues to find new efficiencies, we believe that ongoing learning is key to our success.

So, if you're looking for a challenging and rewarding position with a dynamic team of dental accounting experts, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity today!

Client Accounting Manager
You will own the monthly accounting cycle for a portfolio of clients. This role is crucial in moving the product toward completion and the firm’s standard of excellence. ·         Direct communication with practice owners regarding financial results

·         Manage and oversee back-office functions using external/internal resources

·         Full monthly close process for assigned client portfolio (around 30 clients)

·         Balance sheet reconciliation and trial balance integrity

·         Preparation and review of financial statements

·         Identification and correction of accounting discrepancies

Pursue professional development opportunities for personal growth

·         Obtain applicable certifications, such as QuickBooks ProAdvisor

·         Participate in webinars or other educational opportunities

·         Internal collaboration on efficiencies and processes

QUALITIES AND REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO FILL THIS SEAT

●       Requires a degree in accounting or finance

●       3+ years owning the full monthly close process

●       Strong understanding of double-entry accounting and balance sheet flow

●       Experience reconciling complex accounts without supervision

●       Ability to explain financial statements clearly to non-accountants

●       Has ability to establish a strong relationship with new clients

●       High level of autonomy and personal accountability

●       Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment

●       QuickBooks Online experience preferred and added plus if you have payroll processing experience

OUR CORE VALUES

●       Team First – We believe in being humbly confident

●       Hungry - Exhibit a Self-Employed Mentality and Personal Growth Mindset

●       People Smart - Follow the Golden Rule and be nice

●       Always Over Deliver - Find ways to add value to our team members and clients

●       Always Move Forward - Be more afraid of the status quo than of change
