Responsibilities
Enhance and maintain the existing applications along with building new solutions.
Help design and implement a novel cloud native application for data access.
Participate in maintenance of serverless applications build on
Communicate with your scrum team, vendors, and clients so they understand the project's technical implications, dependencies, and potential conflicts.
Evaluate the impacts of change requests on own/shared technologies and effectively persuade and influence others on ideas.
Deploy cloud platforms to support and meet business needs. Identifies, recommends, and implements opportunities for improvement and performance issue solutions.
Qualifications
5+ years development experience or equivalent - Python, JavaScript, or shell scripting
You have familiarity with AWS concepts and services
Expertise with AWS CloudFormation and services, a few include (IAM, S3, EC2, SNS)
You are excited by AWS cloud adoption and eager to help Vanguard clients achieve the best outcomes for their financial success
You want to work with other talented engineers and foster a culture of innovation, efficiency, independent thinking and collaboration
You can self-train on emerging technologies and share what you learn with others
Strong focus on quality, automation, and client experience
Personal attributes
Strong interpersonal skills, must be a team player
Must have high degree of personal integrity
Ability to work without supervision on short-term tasks
