SUMMARY: 

The MES Application Manager will oversee YMMC IT software solutioning and MES process definition within the YMMC Sequencing Center (3DS/Apriso) application.  

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • System Management: Oversee the lifecycle of ERP, WMS, MES systems including, other enterprise supply chain applications. Ensure these systems and solutions developed meet business needs and are scalable, secure, and efficient. 
  • Project Leadership: Lead system implementation, upgrades, and integrations projects as necessary. Coordinate with YMMC IT and Cross-Functional business teams to ensure project milestones are achieved and within established budgeting. 
  • Process Optimization: Analyze current business processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend solutions that leverage technology to enhance operational productivity and process quality. 
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the liaison between YMMC IT and other departments to understand their needs, ensuring systems align with business objectives. Communicate system capabilities and limitations effectively to non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Data Integrity: Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across all business systems. Develop and enforce data governance policies. 
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with software vendors, negotiate contracts, and evaluate new technologies or upgrades that could benefit the company. 
  • Training and Support: Develop training programs for users, manage the support team to resolve system issues promptly, and maintain high user satisfaction. 
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all systems comply with legal and regulatory standards. Provide regular reporting on system performance, ROI, and other metrics relevant to business operations. 
  • Innovation: Keep abreast of emerging technologies in business systems and propose innovative solutions that could give the company a competitive edge. 
Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of ERP, CRM, WMS, and other business systems. Demonstrated proficiency in project management tools, data analysis, and familiarity with cloud computing platforms. 
  • Business Acumen: Proven ability to align YMMC IT initiatives with business goals, and provide understanding of business processes across departments. 
  • Leadership and Communication: Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills. Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. 
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of improving business processes through technology. 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: 

  • Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years in Information Technology, Supply Chain or related technical business systems management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role preferred. 
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Supply Chain or related technical field. MBA or equivalent preferred.
