Job description

Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Pay: $28-38 hourly + bonuses, overtime available

Location: Houston, TX

Position Summary

We are looking for a skilled Commercial HVAC Service Technician who can diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of commercial HVAC systems. This role is ideal for a technician who enjoys solving complex service issues and working with a knowledgeable team that prioritizes quality workmanship.

You will service a variety of commercial equipment, including:

  • Chilled water systems
  • Low-temperature refrigeration systems
  • Ice machines
  • Package units
  • Other commercial HVAC equipment
Pay & Schedule
  • $28-$38 per hour based on experience
  • Full-time Monday-Friday schedule
  • 40+ hours per week
  • Overtime available as needed
  • Performance-based spiffs and bonuses
  • Automatic overtime pay for hours worked before 6:00 AM or after 6:00 PM
Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair commercial HVAC systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance and equipment service
  • Troubleshoot refrigeration and mechanical issues
  • Maintain accurate service records using company-provided technology
  • Communicate professionally with customers and team members
  • Deliver reliable, high-quality workmanship on every service call
Qualifications
  • 3-5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience
  • Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC equipment, chilled water systems, and refrigeration
  • EPA Universal Certification required
  • Texas Technician Registration required
  • Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
  • Experience with ice machines and advanced refrigeration systems preferred
  • HVAC trade school training preferred
