Wound Care Registered Nurse (Inpatient- Fulltime)

This full-time opportunity offers 40-hours per week, full benefits, and a convenient schedule. There is opportunity for overtime and to cover various shifts if interested.

Role and Responsibilities 

Assumes responsibility and accountability for inpatient skin and wound care management.  These include coordination of clinical services to provide consistent quality care for patients with wounds in the inpatient setting. He/she collaborates with physicians, outpatient and inpatient health care professionals and staff employed an affiliated with WRMC.  He/she works within the framework of the Florida Nurse Practice Act and follows all hospital policies and procedures.  


Qualifications
  • Job Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.  BSN Preferred. 
  • BLS (current upon hire). 
  • Current Florida RN license. 
  • Five years’ experience in acute patient care. 
  • Wound Care Experience Preferred 
  • Demonstrates strong leadership, education to Patient and Nurses, written and verbal and communication skills. 
  • Basic computer and data entry skills required.
