Position Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing and maintaining quality patient care during diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures. This includes patient education, adherence to standards of practice, ongoing professional growth, and collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare providers to support safe and effective care delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initiate and document a written plan of care within required timeframes
  • Perform patient interventions completely and proficiently
  • Demonstrate age-specific competency for the patient populations served
  • Provide appropriate treatment in emergency situations as they arise
  • Verify the accuracy of orders during hospitalization, including medication reconciliation, test and procedure scheduling, pre-op data, and consent forms
  • Follow medication and IV therapy policies, including proper patient identification, medication knowledge, administration, and recognition and reporting of interactions
  • Monitor first-dose medications appropriately for adverse reactions
  • Perform related duties as required
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare providers to support quality patient care
Qualifications

Required:

  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing
  • Active South Carolina RN license or Compact RN license
  • American Heart Association BLS CPR required within 7 days of hire
  • Basic Rhythms required within orientation
Experience
  • Less than 1 year of experience is considered
  • Prior clinical experience will be reviewed to determine acceptable experience
