Description
Highland Hills Medical Center is seeking the right candidate to join our team of nurses in the Emergency Department. This is a full-time position for night shifts. Hospital benefits include health, dental, vision and life insurance, as well as a retirement fund.

This Registered Nurseย will coordinateย care planning with other disciplines. Provides care that meets the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care. Determines priorities of care based on physical and Psychosocial needs of patients, as well as factors influencing patient flow through the system. Communicates with ED physicians regarding changes in patient's status, symptomatology and results of diagnostic studies. Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.

Regulatory Requirements:

  • Current Mississippi Registered Nurse license.
  • Current BLS Certification.
  • ACLS certified within 6 months of hire.
  • PALS within 6 months of hire.
  • TNCC within one year of hire.

Language Skills:

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Additional languages preferred.

Skills:

  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Demonstrate current competency in those clinical responsibilities for which assigned.
