A growing custom home builder specializing in beautiful lakefront homes, is seeking a Project Manager to join their team in Newport, KY. This is a client-facing opportunity for an experienced residential construction professional who understands how custom homes come together and can keep homeowners, vendors, purchasing, and internal teams aligned throughout the process.

The right person is equal parts construction professional and people person - organized, responsive, solution-oriented, and comfortable managing the expectations that come with building highly customized $800K-$2M homes.

What You'll Do as the Project Manager - Custom Residential Construction:

  • Manage the day-to-day coordination of custom residential projects from the office
  • Serve as a key point of contact for homeowners throughout the construction process
  • Keep clients informed on project progress, selections, decisions, changes, and next steps
  • Manage homeowner expectations while providing a high level of responsiveness and customer service
  • Coordinate with the construction team, subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and internal staff to keep projects moving
  • Track project schedules, selections, purchases, materials, and outstanding decisions
  • Coordinate custom finishes, colors, materials, fixtures, and other homeowner selections
  • Help ensure client selections and project information are communicated accurately to the appropriate teams
  • Oversee purchasing and order procurement associated with active projects
  • Manage and support a team member responsible for procurement
  • Anticipate project or client issues and work proactively to resolve them
