Job description

Job Purpose
The Project Controller will coordinate with internal and external partners to complete assigned tasks related to the project financial life cycle for complex projects. This position reports to the Finance Manager, Subsea Projects in Houston, TX.
Job Description
Define administrative, accounting, and tax structure of the project up to $1B USD
- Supervises the contractual terms of the project (deliveries, financial terms, etc)
- Project financial management during project execution
- Project forecasts (revenue/gross margin), working closely with providers if needed
- Facilitation of EAC (estimate at completion) review and management
- Monitors project invoicing
You are meant for this job if:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration or equivalent years of work experience
- Minimum of 4+ years experience in Finance or Financial Controlling within an ERP system
- Strong understanding of Accounting and Financial principles, including US GAAP and IFRS
- Strong knowledge of accounting concepts
- Advanced PC skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP system
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and contributing to team performance
- Solid ability to work independently and solve complex, non-recurring problems
- Detail oriented with strong trouble-shooting skills
- Disciplined with the ability to meet strict deadlines
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal
