Theย position offersย a diverse case mix including general, orthopedic, endoscopy, and OB/GYN procedures. CRNAs practice in a collaborative, team-oriented environment with experienced anesthesia providers and supportive surgical staff. Case Mix:ย ย Most specialties; Does not includes cardiac or neuro cases.ย
Call Requirements:ย ย
- 1:7 First and Second Callย
- Guaranteed postย firstย call day offย
- In house call only if there is an active OB patient on the floorย

$215,000 annual Salaryย
$75,000 call compensationย

Responsibilities
Administrative Duties:ย
- The CRNA must function as a collaborator and team member toย accomplishย applicable goals and functions ofLifeLinc.ย
- Develop standards for continuity of care and case management.ย
- Remainsย cognizantย of rules and regulation as they pertain to the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists andย remainsย compliant at a local, state, and federal level.ย

Clinical Duties:ย
The CRNA scope of practice includes, but is not limited to, the following:ย
- Performing andย timelyย and accurately documentingapre-anesthetic assessmentsand patientevaluations, including requesting consultations and diagnostic studies; selecting, obtaining, ordering, or administering pre-anesthetic medications and fluids; and obtaining informed consent for anesthesia.ย
- Theday-to-dayresponsibility of the CRNA for this position will be toprovide professional anesthesiaservices to patientsย in accordance withย the standard of care and state and federal laws and may include any ofย all ofย the following:ย
- Managing a patient's airway.ย
- Managing emergence and recovery from anesthesia.ย
- Releasing or discharging patients from a post-anesthesia careย area, andย providing post-anesthesia follow-up evaluation and care related to anesthesia side effects or complications.ย
- Responding to emergency situations by providing airway management, administration of emergency fluids or drugs, or using basic or advanced cardiac life support techniques.ย
- Additionalย nurse anesthesia responsibilities which are within theย expertiseย of the individual CRNA.ย
Communication:ย
- Attends meetings as neededย
- Works with peers to obtain required information onย a timelyย basis and to solve outstanding issues, asย appropriate.ย
- Promotes and contributes positively to the teamwork of the department byย assistingย coworkers, contributingย ideasย and problem-solving with co-workers.ย
