Rootshell Enterprise Technologies Inc. is a recognized provider of professional IT Consulting services in the US. We are actively seeking Power BI Architectfor one of our direct client.
Title: Power BI Architect
Location: King Of Prussia, PA
Duration: Long Term

The Data Architect will define and/or assess project data architectures. This includes ensuring the completeness and correctness of technical artifacts relating to data requirements, database design, data integration (ETL), and objected-oriented data access services. Concerns include application integration, performance, maintainability, robustness, and security of the data architecture. The Data Architect must understand project related data and integration requirements. This person will work with developers and DBAs to ensure that the design is implemented appropriately and coordinate with EDM and Architect groups to ensure client data standards are followed.
Responsibilities include:
1. Define the overall application data architecture, which may include mainframe legacy data, operational RDBMS, data stores, data warehouse/marts and ETL processes.
2. Design, develop, and implement application data structures. This may include RDBMS tables and domain object layers.
3. Integrate data across application layers, across application subsystems, and across heterogeneous data sources.
4. Identify and enforce data standards to ensure consistent and maintainable application metadata.
5. Coordinate the tasks of the data modeling, DBA, ETL, and data quality team members.
6. Review and ensure the quality of the artifacts produced by the data modeling, DBA, ETL, and data quality team members.
7. Participate in the definition and design of data security solutions.
Skills and Knowledge
โ€ข Expert analysis and design skills
- Expert Power BI
โ€ข Expert data modeling knowledge, including UML domain models, ER data models, and business intelligence dimensional models
โ€ข Strong knowledge about RDBMs, including SQL, preferably with Oracle
โ€ข Strong knowledge about software development processes, preferably RUP.
Preferred:
- Informatica ETL toolset
โ€ข Knowledge about Java data persistence solutions
