What You’ll Be Doing

  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines using tools such as Azure Data Factory and SQL Server Integration Services
  • Build enterprise data models, including star schemas and Power BI semantic models
  • Create interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI
  • Develop DAX calculations and Power Query transformations to support reporting needs
  • Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and manage workspace governance
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Optimize SQL queries and data models for performance and scalability
  • Monitor data refreshes and troubleshoot production issues
  • Manage deployment pipelines and version control processes using Git
  • Create technical documentation, data dictionaries, and user guides
  • Support data governance and data quality initiatives
  • Stay current with emerging analytics tools, technologies, and best practices

What You Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field — or equivalent experience
  • 2–5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or business analysis
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server or Azure SQL
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and deployment pipelines
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT processes, and dimensional modeling
  • Experience with Azure data services such as Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, or Databricks preferred
  • Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or R preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical teams
  • Experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications
  • Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel within the state as needed
