Overview

Heritage Home Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and dependable Senior Caregiver in the Albuquerque, NM area to provide high-quality in-home care to clients. Our caregivers make a meaningful difference every day by helping clients maintain independence, comfort, and quality of life in their homes through support with activities of daily living (ADLs) and daily care needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating
  • Follow individualized care plans and delegated care instructions
  • Provide mobility assistance, including transfers and positioning from bed, chair, or wheelchair
  • Support medication reminders and care plan instructions per agency guidelines
  • Assist with light housekeeping and maintaining a safe home environment
  • Provide companionship, emotional support, and social engagement
  • Escort or transport clients to appointments or errands as needed
  • Observe, document, and report changes in client condition to the clinical team
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Previous caregiving experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and follow care plans accurately
  • Strong communication and observational skills
  • Must have a current valid driver's license and reliable transportation with auto insurance
  • Must live in Albuquerque, NM or surrounding areas
