Job Summary
The Pool Server is responsible for greeting guests, serving food and beverages, upselling, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the pools, while providing excellent guest service and creating a memorable guest experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
• Perform basic bartender skills- follow recipes for a limited variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Assist guests with selecting food and beverages by suggesting items, explaining the chefs specialties, identifying appropriate beverage pairings, and answering food preparation questions.
• Efficiently receive guest orders paying attention to special requests or needs (i.e. allergies) and input them into POS system. Communicate special requests to the kitchen to ensure correct outcome
• Retrieve guest orders from the kitchen and deliver to pool guests.
• Engage with guests to ensure they are satisfied with food and overall service.
• Must be able to cross-train in other F&B related areas.

• Adapt to frequent change, fast paced environment, delays, or unexpected events.
• Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.

Requirements
Essential Skills, Experience, and Education include:
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1-2 year related experience; or equivalent combination of education and hospitality experience.
• Luxury hotel/fine dining experience is a plus.
• FORBES standards is a plus.
• High volume, fast-paced restaurant/bar experience preferred.
• Aloha experience is a plus.
• Food Handlers card is required.
• Training for Intervention Procedures (TIPS) Certification is required.
• Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification is required.
• Proficient in English- verbal and written.
• Must have flexible work availability- all shifts, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements include:
• Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Hours: 10am - 6pm
