Job description

A worldwide Engineering Consulting company has an immediate need for a Municipal Water/Wastewater Project Manager.


  • Managing and serving as Project Manager on municipal wastewater services projects
  • Providing technical guidance, senior leadership, and mentoring engineering staff to enhance wastewater treatment planning and design capabilities
  • Responsible for scope, schedule, budget development and monitoring projects managed
  • Completing Quality Assurance/Quality Control of key deliverables.
  • Building and maintaining positive working relationships with key decision makers in clients’ organizations.

  • 15 + years of Project Management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering
  • Prior experience managing wastewater projects greater than $1M.
  • Previous experience working on and managing wastewater projects for municipal clients
  • Previous experience managing multi-discipline project teams.
  • Excellent communication, networking and team building skills.

Education / Certifications

  • Current professional engineering license in the state of California, strongly preferred
  • Current PM certification (either PMP; CCM and DBIA) or ability to receive within 12 months of start.
