Job description

Field Service Specialist / Field Service Photographer

Field Asset Specialists will be required to work in a team setting while traveling the U.S., photographing and documenting industrial assets, private businesses, landmarks, outdoor coverage, live events, and a variety of other locations. Travel is extensive (21 days per month).

No photography experience needed! (Training Provided)

Duties:

Along with capturing imagery, Field Service Specialist / Field Service Photographer will be responsible for:

  • Using digital cameras along with a variety of equipment such as tripods, filters, and flash attachments for capturing Asset information.

  • Logging data for corresponding imagery

  • Prepping scenes with high attention to detail

  • Following strict guidelines for Processing Imagery onto computers for editing, storage, and transfer to removable storage.

  • Follow strict guidelines for shipping processed data back to headquarters

  • Perform maintenance tasks necessary to keep equipment working properly.

  • Gear inventory

  • Workspace organization and cleanliness

  • Corresponding daily with supervisor to include

    • Schedule changes or adjustments

    • Daily task completion and status.

  • Developing and maintaining professional relationships with clientele

  • Ongoing training related to the job to including but not limited to:

    • Information Assurance Training

    • Safety Training

    • OSHA 30hr

    • Annual CPR Qualification

  • Flexibility is a must!

Job Requirements:

  • Ability and willingness to

    • Travel up to 75% of the time to customer locations

    • Work in extreme elements (hot and cold) on a frequent basis, including snow, ice, rain, wind and other weather elements.

    • Drive long distances to client locations

  • Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

  • Must have and maintain a valid Driver’s License

  • Sharp eyesight or corrective lenses if needed

  • Minimum Age 21+ years old

  • Adaptable to change

  • Well motivated, self-starter, high integrity, and a team player.

  • A complete criminal background and drug screen will be performed on all candidates selected for hire.

Preferred Experience:

  • Computer Skills:

    • Must be competent in Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel.

    • Must be competent in iOS (iPad) functionality.

  • Knowledge of the following applications a plus: Numbers, Skitch, Expense It, Google Drive, and Google Worksheets

  • Photography and outdoor work experience

  • New Spin LLC seeks candidates who are innovative, responsible, can work under pressure, have Initiative, accountability, accurate, detail oriented, reliable, organized and creative.

  • No qualification needed, though is a plus

    • OSHA 30hr is a Plus

    • CPR Qualification

  • No experience needed, but a plus

    • Knowledge of Industrial Power Distribution system components.

Physical Demands:

  • Frequently required to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.

  • Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, grasp, reach outward, squat, kneel, and bend

  • Must be able to withstand extreme weather conditions, such as extreme hot or cold temperatures

  • Must have the ability to wear provided P.P.E. (Personal Protective Equipment provided by the company): Hard hat, face shield, composite toe boots, safety glasses, ear plugs, gloves, high visibility vests, and long sleeve, flame-retardant clothing year round.

Pay:

Although much is required of a Field Asset Specialist, much is also given. We offer competitive pay, and a full health benefits package (Health, Dental, Vision, & Short Term Disability) paid for by New Spin ! All full-time employees receive 35 paid days off each year (if all holidays fall on weekdays)!. All equipment and training needed for the job is provided by New Spin. Vehicle, gas, room and board, and per diem all provided by New Spin while traveling for work.

***Vacation and Paid Time Off cannot be used until after the first 90 days of employment***

***Medical/Dental/Vision cannot be used until after first 60 days of employment***
