Job description

JOB LOCATION - Wilkes-Barre General Hospital - Days

Position Purpose

The Registered Nurse provides quality nursing care established by regulatory standards to adults / aging adults requiring hemodialysis / peritoneal in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Position Qualifications

Education:

Experience/Specialized Skills/Aptitudes

Minimum of one (1) year of dialysis nursing preferred. Training is provided for those without dialysis experience. Must be flexible regarding priorities. Requires ability to work as part of a team and willing to assist others when needed. Dependable transportation required.

Licenses/Certificates:

Current PA Practice Permit/ Registered Nurse license

BLS required, must be completed prior to the end of orientation period
