Experience:

โ€ข 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

โ€ข 24 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

โ€ข Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

โ€ข Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).

โ€ข This role may require floating to additional units and locations

โ€ข Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

โ€ข 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - OSF HealthCare and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - OSF HealthCare.

Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.

Additional Details:

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job youโ€™re applying to.

Required Skills/Experience: Postop surgical care and general med-surg care.

Unit Details: Nurse:patient ratios are 1:4-5 on 12 hr days and 1:5-6 on 12 hr nights. Wide variety of medical-surgical patients, postoperative orthopedic cases, and trauma cases with fractures. Uses CPAP, heated high flow, house-wide telemetry pack monitors, and Philips monitors.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend; night shift weekend is Friday/Saturday. No call.

Floating Requirements: Travel RNs are first to float if needed, occasionally to other like med-surg floors.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months

Driverโ€™s license required for submission
