CLASSIFICATION/STATUS: Exempt, Full Time, Permanent

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Director of Project Management

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None

WORK LOCATION: Brighton, Hybrid (1 remote day per week, per managerial discretion)

SALARY: Band E ($58,200 – $74,900 annually)


Role and Impact

The mission of Charles River Community Health (CRCH) is to partner with individuals and families so they can thrive and lead healthier lives by delivering the comprehensive, integrated, and equitable primary healthcare that matters most to them. The Clinical Reporting Analyst is responsible for leveraging existing reporting tools and datasets to bolster data-driven decision-making by CRCH management, increase visibility into operational efficiency, and track the outcomes of strategic investments. Most of this work will rely on the reporting modules that exist in the Epic electronic health record, though reporting projects using other platforms and datasets will be required from time to time.


Responsibilities

· Create ad hoc and recurring reports using pre-existing tools in Epic electronic health record (e.g., Slicer Dicer, Reporting Workbench, Radar, Signal)

· Collaborate with clinical and operational department leaders to create Epic dashboards that display relevant data (e.g., patient flow, clinical outcomes, provider productivity).

· Meet with individual Epic users to assess reporting needs.

· Create, manage, and communicate a queue to prioritize reporting requests.

· Build reports to support patient recall, population health, and other outreach campaigns.

· Troubleshoot basic report errors, document report specifications, and assist with testing and validating reports.

· Participate in creation of Epic EHR development and clinical reporting strategy; work with EHR Application Manager, Manager of Health Informatics Systems, and other to execute the strategy.

· Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

· Must have 4+ years of education and/or experience in healthcare administration, information technology, business analytics, or a related field (a bachelor’s degree could satisfy this requirement but is not necessary)

· Prior experience with Epic or another EHR is preferred, but strong numeracy, communication skills, and emotional intelligence are most important.

· Must be able to gather reporting requirements from diverse stakeholders and translate them into actionable data.

· Must have strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

· Must have experience using SQL or a willingness to learn it.
