CMM Programmer / Quality Inspector – Aerospace & Defence Manufacturing
Location: Vaughan, ON
Eligibility: Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident
Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent
Pay: $27–$34/hour, depending on shift
Shifts & Pay:
Day Shift: $27–$30/hour
Afternoon Shift: $30–$34/hour

About the Role:
We are hiring an experienced CMM Programmer / Quality Inspector for a leading Aerospace & Defence precision machining environment.
The facility manufactures complex, tight-tolerance components using advanced CNC machining and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform First-Off, In-Process, Final, and Incoming Inspections
  • Program, operate, edit, and validate CMM equipment/programs
  • Perform dimensional inspection of precision CNC-machined components
  • Operate Vision Inspection Systems
  • Use micrometers, verniers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges, and other precision measuring equipment
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
  • Apply GD&T to verify dimensional requirements
  • Verify surface finish requirements
  • Identify and document non-conforming products
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Maintain inspection records and quality documentation
  • Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams
Requirements
  • 5+ years of Quality Inspection experience in a precision machining environment
  • Hands-on CMM programming and operation experience
  • Strong GD&T knowledge
  • Strong blueprint and engineering drawing interpretation skills
  • Experience with tight-tolerance CNC-machined components
  • Experience using precision measuring equipment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
