Location: Appleton, WI

Facility: Ascension St. Elizabeth

Department/Specialty: Float Pool

Schedule: Full-time 0.9 FTE days | three 12-hour shifts per week 645am - 715pm | weekend and holiday rotation

How you'll make an impact in this role

Perform basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision.

  • Aid with movement and placement of patients.
  • Assist patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.
  • Report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Document necessary records.
  • Keep patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintain medical equipment.
What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

Required Credential(s):

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant credentialed from the state of Wisconsin, and in Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry with eligibility to work within a hospital setting obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Additional certifications may be required by specific job locations.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
    • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
