Finance Technical Product Manager- Mars Veterinary Health
LOCATION & SCHEDULE:

This role requires associates to work out of a MVH North America hub location - Vancouver, WA | Santa Monica, CA | Tampa, FL
Why This Role Matters:
The Technical Product Manager (TPM) is the strategic anchor and technical translator responsible for designing, scaling, and driving the roadmap of the core platform capabilities that power our entire MVH product portfolio. Acting as the critical bridge between the business, the product teams, and technical execution teams, the TPM translates complex system dependencies into reusable, secure, and highly efficient shared infrastructure (such as APIs, cloud integrations, and common workflows). By championing platform adoption across the MVH organization, the TPM eliminates redundant efforts, reduces technical debt, and unlocks indirect business value-ensuring our customer-facing applications can scale rapidly, securely, and seamlessly.
You Will:
  • Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
  • Platform Strategy & Road mapping
    • Establish product roadmaps, release plans, and lifecycle management that satisfy requirements across the record-to-report (RTR) product portfolio across Oracle ERP, Essbase, and OneStream.• Synthesize requirements from multiple stakeholders to build common, reusable capabilities.
  • Adoption & Change Management
    • Champion the platform to drive internal adoption and evangelism across the organization.• Ensure high-quality documentation, clean APIs, onboarding resources, and a superior customer and developer experience.
  • Hands-On Configuration, Data Validation & Reconciliation, and Critical Period-Close Support
    • Configure and validate chart of accounts (COA) mappings, metadata/hierarchy changes, controls, reconciliations, and automation routines required for Finance operations.
    • Provide expert troubleshooting and root-cause analysis during critical close windows, with proactive monitoring and permanent resolution of recurring issues.
    • Coordinate and support financial reporting teams to meet the 30-minute SLA during period close and on-time financial submission to Mars (OneStream).
  • Project Management & Execution
    • Guide engineering teams to scope, plan, and deliver work within established agile methodologies.• Proactively identify and resolve technical blockers and cross-team dependencies to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Technical & Risk Management
    • Ensure the platform complies with security, privacy, and regulatory standards.• Make strategic "build, buy, or partner" decisions for platform solutions.
  • Performance & Metrics
    • Define, track, and communicate relevant platform KPIs and usage metrics to monitor overall system health and business value.
  • Other job duties as assigned.

Your Experience Should Include:
  • Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Finance/Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or related field.
  • Preferred: Demonstrated working knowledge of Oracle ERP, Essbase, and OneStream
  • 4+ years of experience in a technical program or project management role.
  • Foundational understanding of accounting and the relationship between financial statements across the P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cashflow.
  • Hands-on experience with data reconciliation between detailed financial transactions in Oracle ERP and financial reporting lines in Essbase/OneStream.
  • Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.

Salary Range: $90,300- $141,094
  • Compensation is determined based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, location, and market competitiveness.
