Material Handler in Huron, OH
Starting pay: $19.52 starting rate- with 1.00 shift differential.
Shift (2nd Shift): 3pm to 1pm, Monday thru Friday- with overtime during our peak season! Will need the ability to train on any and all shifts.
Full -Time Benefits- SIGN ON BONUS OF $1,000.
A Material Handler at The Pittsburgh Paints Company receives, ships and handles raw materials, packaging and finished goods as it enters or leaves the site. They are an important team member that helps us meet our strategic goals each and every day. If you are a self-motivated, driven individual, then join our team and become part of our success!
Key Responsibilities May Include
  • Following all safety rules, processes and procedures.
  • Receiving and handling raw materials needed for production.
  • Loading and unloading trailers, following dock safety procedures.
  • Operating robotic palletizers, stretch wrappers, conveyors.
  • Maintaining clean and orderly work areas.

Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Stand for extended periods of time, maneuvering around equipment.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds routinely and up to 80 pounds infrequently.
  • Follow detailed instructions and record progress.
  • Operate material handling equipment, hoists and other equipment.
  • Work in a team environment and take ownership over assigned area of responsibility.
