Shift: Day shift with possibility of some early evening hours
Status: Full - Time; 10 shifts per biweekly pay period
Weekends: No
Holidays: No
This position reports to the Practice Manager.Experience/Qualifications:
- Graduate of accredited School of Nursing/College of Nursing
Current Ohio RN licensure required.
CPR/BLS within 90 days of hire
Physician Office/Outpatient experience preferred.
Cardiology, critical care, progressive care, & outpatient clinic experience preferred.
EPIC Electronic Medical Records experience preferred.
Ability to perform ECGs
Previous pacemaker and cardiac device interrogation experience
Inpatient telemetry experience
Use of Doppler for evaluation of pulses (e.g. peripheral pulses, MAP for LVAD patients)
Confidence in triage of cardiovascular conditions (e.g. phone calls, nurse visits)
Responsibilities:
Rooms and assesses patients of varying ages.
Effectively educates patients.
Accurate and timely recording of clinical documentation
Demonstrates excellent ability to work with the public and individuals of varying ages.
Portrays a professional, courteous, and helpful attitude to customers.
Serves as a liaison between clients and Office Providers.
Collaborates and establishes a good working rapport with Office Providers and all internal/external customers in order to achieve maximum productivity and efficiency.
Demonstrates accurate and efficient use of the electronic health record and registration system.
Performs other duties as needed.
Skill/Ability:
Required to become skilled in the EPIC electronic health record system.
Must be committed to top level customer service.
Demonstrates/uses effective problem solving skills.
Ability to work both independently and as a team player, to exercise good judgment, and to successfully multitask.
Excellent computer skills and an ability to grasp new computer programs a must.
