CHI St. Alexius Health Williston, now part of CommonSpirit Health formed between Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) and Dignity Health, has been proudly serving our community since 1920. CHI St. Alexius Health Williston proudly provides primary care, specialty care, family medicine, 3D mammography, orthopedics, neurology, and several other health services to our Williston community.
Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Clinic RN at CHI St. Alexius Health Williston, you will utilize the nursing process to identify patient needs and priorities of care through assessment, planning, and delegation of care based on patient needs, therapeutic interventions, and evaluation of the patient's response in a defined outpatient clinic setting. Is held accountable for policies and procedures of the department and organization. This position supports the mission, vision, and philosophy of CommonSpirit Health.
To succeed in this role, you must have genuine compassion for your patient's well-being and understand your part in helping our patients feel at ease. You also have the patience to explain the process, answer questions and update documentation.
  • Works collaboratively with provider to provide exceptional care, by assisting with patient exams and multiple clinic procedures, implement treatments, and evaluate patient outcomes
  • Perform/record vital signs, CPR, apply oxygen delivering systems, perform simple wound irrigation/direct pressure/dressings, prepare sterile field for suturing, assist provider with treatment when appropriate, apply restraints, clean medical equipment and prepare for sterilization, collect urine specimens, and phlebotomy
  • Provides patient and family education
  • Assists with patient transports and transfers
  • Answer telephones, filing, greet patients/visitors, and transcribe provider's orders
  • Records all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format and on the appropriate forms

We are offering a $10,000 sign-on bonus in addition to relocation to new hires who meet eligibility requiremens.
Job Requirements
Required
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing
  • Registration by the State of North Dakota Board of Nursing
  • American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support (BLS)

Preferred
  • Clinic RN experience.
