Job description


Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Hotel Front Desk Supervisor to lead our front desk team and provide exceptional service to our guests. This full-time, year-round position is ideal for an organized individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering outstanding hospitality experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise the daily operations of the front desk, ensuring efficient and friendly service

- Train, mentor, and assist front desk staff, fostering a positive and team-oriented work environment

- Coordinate guest check-ins and check-outs, handling any special requests or issues promptly and professionally

- Monitor guest feedback and address any concerns or complaints to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction

- Maintain accurate records and reports related to room occupancy, reservations, and financial transactions

- Collaborate with hotel management to implement and enforce policies and procedures that enhance the guest experience

- Ensure that the front desk area is tidy, organized, and fully equipped with necessary supplies and promotional materials

- Participate in hiring and performance evaluation processes for front desk staff

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a front desk agent or in a similar supervisory role within the hospitality industry

- Exceptional customer service skills with a warm and welcoming demeanor

- Strong leadership abilities and the capability to manage and motivate a diverse team

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Proficiency in hotel management software and computer applications

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure

- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as necessary
