Job description

Job Title: Online Radiologic Technology Instructor (Full-Time Remote)
Location: Remote

Our student-centric approach is the foundation of our success. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our team as a full-time Online Instructor. In this remote role, you will have the opportunity to shape the next generation of imaging professionals, directly impacting student success from anywhere in the country.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Online Instructor, you will be at the heart of our students' educational journey. Your primary duties will include:
  • Student-Centered Instruction: Facilitate engaging and effective online learning for a full teaching load (24 credits/semester or approximately 100 students per class sequence), fostering an environment where students can thrive.
  • Drive Student Success: Provide timely, constructive feedback on assignments and offer additional support to students struggling with course material, maintaining a student success rate of 70% or higher across all courses.
  • Proactive Student Support: Actively support student retention and engagement by identifying and reaching out to students who are falling behind, providing guidance via phone and email.
  • Support Graduate Achievement: Champion our graduates' success by assisting with ARRT exam preparation efforts, including offering tutoring and support to recent graduates.
  • Academic Advising: Advise students on their academic progress, course participation and strategies for success.
  • Curriculum Excellence: Collaborate with program leadership on curriculum reviews, updates, and the implementation of program goals.
  • Professional Collaboration: Attend and actively contribute to program advisory board meetings and faculty meetings.
  • Grading & Reporting: Prepare and submit final grades in accordance with the academic calendar.

Who You Are:
  • An ARRT-registered professional with a passion for mentoring and education.

  • A lifelong learner committed to staying current in the field of radiologic technology.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Education: A Master's degree, professional degree (e.g., JD, MD), or a Baccalaureate degree with a professional certification from a nationally recognized accrediting agency.
  • Certification: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Credentials: Must hold a current ARRT registration in Radiologic Sciences (or an equivalent unrestricted state license) and any required state teaching licenses.
  • Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of full-time clinical experience as a registered radiologic technologist.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and video-conferencing platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience with online instruction and Learning Management Systems.
